"TNT: Thinking & Talking — An explosion of ideas and thoughts."

The classroom card game that turns discourse into discovery.

Most students have plenty to say — they just need the right structure to say it. TNT is an interactive card game built on research-based concepts that transform classroom discussion from a few loud voices into a shared, disciplined conversation. Every card has a purpose: to question, justify, infer, disagree, or simply think. The result is richer discourse, stronger critical thinking, and students who feel genuinely heard.

Tammarrah Addison is a creative arts teacher, writer, and educational coach currently based at a US military installation in Sasebo, Japan. With years of classroom experience across cultures and contexts, she designs tools that meet students where they are — and push them further than they thought possible. TNT was born from her belief that every learner carries an explosion of ideas. This game gives those ideas a way out.

How it works?

Each deck supports 5 players with 60 cards. Players take turns placing cards to drive discussion — whether to share knowledge (K), ask a question (Q), justify a statement (J), make an inference (6), or give a peer a high five for a great idea (5). Three rounds escalate from structured turns to open debate to an assessment-ready final round using only the highest-level cards: K, J, Q, A, TNT, and Teacher. Cards left unplayed become powerful data — street data, formative assessment, or re-teaching cues.

Each TNT deck includes 60 cards + a printed instruction sheet, packaged for a group of 5 players. Designed for one-on-one sessions, small groups, or whole-class play. Order below — or scan the QR code on your game box to return to this page anytime.
